The LSU Center for Internal Auditing & Cybersecurity Risk Management (LSUCIA&CRM) is a global leader in internal audit education. Since its establishment in 1985, LSUCIA&CRM has supported over 4,000 individuals as they launch careers in internal auditing. Its alumni are highly valued for their expertise and professionalism. As it welcomes new leadership, the program remains dedicated to creating a strong talent pipeline.
Every day, we're driven by our commitment to address critical business needs by developing leaders with both a philosophical and functional understanding of internal auditing, compliance, and enterprise-level risk management. To adapt to the evolving landscape of business challenges, our program examines crucial topics, including the implications of artificial intelligence. It develops robust skills in environmental, social, and governance (ESG) considerations and cybersecurity. Students also engage in interdisciplinary teamwork, collaborating with computer science majors to support small businesses through the LSU Cybersecurity Clinic. Together, these efforts build stronger teams across our campus and beyond.
