The LSU Professional Sales Institute (PSI) advances the sales profession through insightful research and educational programs for both current LSU students and the greater business community.
Every day, we are dedicated to researching and sharing expertise in sales. Through the professional sales concentration, marketing faculty use courses, interactive sales projects, and nationwide sales competitions to equip students with practical knowledge and skills needed to thrive in the workforce. Our students also benefit from targeted networking and career development opportunities; as a result, most receive multiple job offers before graduation. Faculty perform scientific analysis of the sales profession to provide managers with cutting-edge strategies to build and maintain a competitive advantage within their sales teams. Our focus areas include sales strategy, sales force compensation plans, motivation, and customer engagement. These topics and other timely concerns are addressed at our Sales Symposium, held each spring. This event allows current students and sales professionals to learn and network. Together, these efforts build stronger teams across our campus and beyond.
