Founded in 1935, LSU Press is one of the nation’s most acclaimed scholarly publishers, recognized for four Pulitzer Prizes as well as many other prestigious awards. LSU Press publishes approximately 75 titles a year in subjects ranging from southern history and literature to environmental studies, poetry, and foodways. Also established in 1935, The Southern Review receives national and international accolades for its poetry, fiction, nonfiction, and art. Together we are a team of 21 dedicated staff, and we take seriously our mission to promote the achievements of our state and region and to educate readers about our culture and history.

1. LSU Press Annual Fund
Your gift to this fund will provide unrestricted, flexible support to the LSU Press, enabling us to produce high-quality books, price them competitively, and market them more broadly than we otherwise would be able to do.
2. The Southern Review Fund
Your gift to this fund will provide unrestricted, flexible support for The Southern Review, enabling us to publish both emerging and established authors, as well as market the journal more broadly than we otherwise would be able to do.
3. LSU Press Author Recruitment Fund
Your gift to this fund will enable us to offer significant advances against royalties to prospective authors, enabling us to attract and support the best writers and scholars locally, regionally, and nationally.
