Your generosity on LSU Giving Day impacts the following priority initiatives:
1. LSUA General Institutional Betterment Fund
The LSUA General Institutional Betterment Fund is one of LSUA’s highest fundraising priorities. A gift to this fund allows us to support students, retain faculty, explore new project possibilities and meet workforce needs across the region. The LSUA General Institutional Betterment Fund has become increasingly important in the flexible spending needed to maintain the university’s excellence. Gifts to this fund have supported initiatives such as the LSUA Career Development Center, student events, and the LSUA Center for Opportunity Research & Experiential Learning.
2. LSUA Scholarship Fund
Our university is ranked among the best colleges in Louisiana, with the lowest in-state tuition! Forty-two percent of LSUA students graduate career-ready and debt-free through our exceptional programs. Additionally, 16 percent of our students receive university scholarships. LSUA students can achieve personal and professional success through our 23:1 student to faculty ratio, personalized support services, and numerous student activities across campus.
3. Generals Emergency Relief Fund
The Generals Emergency Relief Fund was established for limited financial assistance when students are unable to meet immediate, essential expenses due to temporary hardship related to an emergency. Having the ability to help students in this time of need so that they can continue to focus on their academic programs is important to overall student success at LSUA.
